Support that meets the environment you’re actually working in

No two teams need the exact same kind of support. The work usually starts by understanding what’s happening for your organization specifically, then building practical support around that.

I start by looking at where work is slowing down. Where communication got weird. Where processes became heavier than the work itself. Where people have gotten so used to working around problems they stopped questioning them.

Then we figure out what’s actually going on and deal with it directly instead of adding another meeting about it.

Leadership support

For leaders carrying too much, managing difficult dynamics, or trying to rebuild trust inside overwhelmed teams.

01

Team & workplace consulting

When communication keeps breaking down, tension keeps resurfacing, or everybody’s compensating for the same unresolved problems.

02

Process & operational cleanup

Untangling bloated workflows, unclear ownership, unnecessary approvals, and systems that are making everything harder than it needs to be.

03

Change & transition support

Supporting teams operating inside environments that have become reactive, overloaded, or difficult to sustain.

Preparing for a DoD contract — or working to keep one? We can help you get there and stay there.

Based in Central New York, but the kind of workplace problems I deal with aren’t exactly location-specific.

Virtual and travel support available.

I’ve spent a lot of time in environments where people were expected to absorb the impact of bad systems, unclear leadership, and constant pressure without ever being asked what it was costing them.

Watching that happen changes the way you see work.

It made me pay attention to the people quietly carrying too much. The employees losing confidence in environments that stopped supporting them. The leaders trying to hold everything together without realizing the environment itself was part of the problem.

House of Jack came from wanting to approach those situations differently.

“We’ve already tried leadership training before.”

A lot of places have. Usually the problem isn’t that people haven’t been taught enough. It’s that nobody slowed down long enough to look at the environment people were trying to function inside in the first place.

“What if leadership is part of the problem?”

Sometimes it is. Not always because people are bad at their jobs, either. Pressure does weird things to people. So does operating in unhealthy environments long enough. A lot of this work is just getting honest about what’s been normalized over time.

“What if we don’t even know where the problem is yet?”

That’s more common than you’d think. Most people reach out because the same issues keep showing up in different ways and nobody can fully explain why. Usually, there’s something underneath it feeding all of it.

“How is this different from traditional consulting?”

I’m not interested in dropping a generic framework into an environment I don’t understand. Most workplaces are more complicated than that. The people doing the work usually know more than they’ve been given credit for.

“What if my team is already exhausted?”

Then adding more pressure probably isn’t the answer. Most overwhelmed teams don’t need another initiative. They need support that makes the work feel more sustainable instead of heavier.

Strategy is only as good as what comes next

That's why we're partnering with Suzie North Studio—so when the consulting work is done, you have the materials, systems, and tools to actually run with it.

If you’ve made it this far, there’s a good chance some part of this felt familiar

Maybe you’ve been trying to hold things together longer than you should have had to. Maybe the same issues keep resurfacing no matter how many conversations, restructures, or new processes get introduced.

Or maybe you’re just tired of watching good people slowly disconnect from work that used to matter to them.

Most environments don’t get this way overnight. And they usually don’t get better because people were told to communicate more or care harder. Sometimes the real work is slowing down long enough to understand what’s happening underneath all of it.

If you’re ready for that conversation, House of Jack is here when you need it.
